The Project

Working with the Trust led by Leeds Beckett University to develop a new Trust, gain approval from the RSC and DfE, and working with joining schools.  GLK have provided support across a number of areas including application submission, school engagement, and conversion project management for schools joining the Trust.

Our Contribution

We worked with Leeds Beckett University to identify core requirements of the Trust.  We then co-ordinated and completed an RSC submission to gain approval for the Trust and any subsequent academy conversions.  This work required the development of key information and documents such as Member and Trust information, scheme of delegation, and core Trust offer.  GLK are now supporting the converting school to join the Trust through engagement with the Trust, school, solicitors, DfE, and local authority.

What our client says

I have engaged GLK on a number of projects over the last couple of years. Their professional approach, expertise and knowledge about the Education sector is excellent and their project management and attention to detail is outstanding. Leeds Beckett University procured their services to support the formation of a MAT. We have worked with GLK on a number of levels to develop the MAT offer, engage with schools, and work with the RSC and DfE to gain approval and develop our Trust further.

As a company, they took time to understand our brief as well as getting to know the team prior to the project starting. Their scoping activity and project planning was excellent. The project was complex in nature and their attention to detail, advice and guidance was outstanding. I would recommend and signpost GLK for any educational projects of any size or complexity.
