Working with a number of identified partners through Cheshire East Council to develop a successful UTC application. Developing the application content along with project team development through engagement with further employers, the local community and our university partner.
We have worked with the client to develop a successful application to open a UTC in September 2016 and subsequently appointed to project manage all pre-opening activities through to September 2016. Our work included managing all workstreams including finance, marketing and student recruitment, buildings development, legal, and education and curriculum. We supported the recruitment process for the UTC's Principal and were instrumental in supporting a handover as they commenced their appointment.
GLK Solutions have coached the Crewe Design and Engineering UTC team from the school’s inception. Gemma and Lesley have managed to ensure that we deliver everything on time, helped us to articulate, refine and define what was special about our UTC and helped us to disseminate this to the World.
We are greatly indebted to GLK Solutions for making this perilous journey as painless as possible. They have given the partners the confidence to spend our time on those areas of the school’s formation that we felt were central to our vision whilst giving us the comfort of knowing that Gemma and Lesley were keeping an eye on everything else.
